Welcome to the Regents prep section. The English Regents test is a literacy test, as such, we will practice strategies for the test throughout all of our units. In 2013, my students created regents prep websites- check out the link above for some awesome resources!
Parents: The best way to help is to encourage your child to read a mixture of both non-fiction (newspaper!) and fiction texts (any book!) every night. This is a literacy test and we are practicing the skills needed most days in many of your child's classes. I will be sure to spend time making your daughter comfortable with the test format and critical lens essay in addition to practicing strategies for reading comprehension.

- Take practice tests and check your answers (full practice tests are linked below.) Print them out!
- Be sure to look at models of each writing section so you understand what is expected!
