- Finish your classic book. (if you finish soon...please get another one or an independent book!)
- Update page numbers on goodreads.com at least three times to show you are reading.
- Add two informal commentaries reflecting on central ideas and literary elements you’re noticing (no more than a paragraph)
- Respond to at least two of your book club member’s commentaries
Optional Regents Preparation- if you'd like to do some regents prep work, that's a REALLY GOOD IDEA.
Multiple Choice Review
- Take a practice test - they are linked here with answer keys
- Once you've checked yourself, review any topics/content/vocab that tripped you up
- Continue to collect your review of literary elements!
Part 2 Practice
- This is the part you practice for most often in all of your classes- creating an argument using text support. We will spend a lot of time on this when we get back, but if you'd like to practice one try one out from the test link!
- When you look at the old tests, notice that there are also MODEL essays and the rubrics are there- spend some time reading other students and discerning what they are doing content and structure wise.
Part 3 Practice
Part 3 Practice: You can practice from the actual test, but I think at this point consider reading one or more of the short stories below and answer the usual part 3 prompt (prompt is to the right!) Here's the rubric link, as well..
